We’re so proud of you all; swimming competitively for the first time, trying new events, doubling up with club practice, demonstrating sportsmanship and team spirit, and just continuing the tradition of the WG Barracuda swim team fully.

2024 Practice Schedule:

• Pre-Season (afterschool) practices are offered 6/10-6/17
  • 11 and Over: 4-5pm
    9-10: 5-6pm
    NEW 8&Unders: 4:15-5pm
    Returning 8&Unders: 5:15-6pm
• Morning practices are offered Monday-Friday 6/19-7/26:
  • 8&Unders: 9-9:45am or 10:30-11:15am (CHOICE)
    9-10s: 9:30-10:30am
    11&Overs: 10:30-11:30am
    
• Evening practices are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 6/20-7/25.
  • Two sessions: 5:30-6:15pm and 6:15-7pm
    Sign up in advance, All ages welcome, 16 spots per session

No practice on Tuesday, June 18 (last day for SPF schools) and Thursday, July 4

• Saturday, July 27 (12-2pm): Team party at WG following 10&Under Championships

• Thursday, June 27 (5PM): 10 and Under Relay Carnival @ Highland Swim Club
• Saturday, June 29 (8:15AM): Nomahegan @ Willow Grove
• Wednesday, July 10 (5PM): Willow Grove @ Highland
• Saturday, July 13 (8:15AM): Cranford Swim & Tennis/Manor Park@Willow Grove
• Wednesday, July 17 (5PM): Willow Grove @ Westfield Memorial
• Friday, July 26 (4PM): 11 & Older Championships @ Westfield Memorial
• Saturday, July 27 (7:30AM): 10 & Under Championships @ Westfield Memorial

• The cost of the swim team is $60 per swimmer for Bonded members and $70 per swimmer for Seasonal members. Each swimmer will receive a team gift
• We recommend snug fitting goggles. WGSC swim caps are for sale in the main office for $10.
• We are in need of OFFICIALS!  Please reach out to Courtney if you are interested in learning more. We will make sure you have all of the knowledge and experience necessary before you officiate a meet solo.
